Relevant, Well intentioned, Well acted, Intense, Intelligent

See it if you want to feel, howsoever briefly, the pain of Pakistani women fighting for rights we take for granted.

Don't see it if the thought of women inmates describing torture is off-putting.

"A trenchant and powerful work...What happens to each of the women by the play’s conclusion is poignant and realistically drawn. The theme of the power of education to deliver freedom to uphold the preciousness of human rights is masterfully elucidated...The ensemble is beautifully shepherded by the director. They turn in outstanding performances. This is a riveting, uplifting production that is not to be missed."

“One of those gems where there are no costume or set changes but the audience stays entranced with the story and acting…Everyone was riveted throughout the 70-minute performance. And rightly so…Mia as Jamila is frightening in her passion...and her description of her crime is hard to take. That's how good she is…The entire production comes together very well to render this important play about life in a part of the world that is not studied much in Western nations.”
