A dark comedy examining America's mental health crisis & assisted suicide.
An Irish-Catholic mother - who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer - goes against the faith by making preparations to end her suffering via Assisted Suicide. Her estranged daughters - one delusional, the other mentally ill - have come to say their goodbyes... if they can stop fighting long enough to do it.
'Act 39 (A Comedy About Suicide)' acts as a scathing commentary on the state of mental healthcare in America and a testament to the strength of families in times of crisis.
Stephen Sposito (Associate Director of The Book of Mormon on Broadway) directs this production.
