About the Show

The Peoples Improv Theater presents an original musical comedy about two high school seniors battling to save the planet and their friendship from certain destruction.

'Aliens Coming' chronicles the friendship of Brandi Boudoir and Clementine Tweedy as they encounter the dividing forces of graduation and maturation. Their relationship is further strained by the arrival of the Flimps from planet Flimpton, an alien species determined to harvest the genitals of the entire human race. Things rapidly get out of hand when Brandi is abducted by the nefarious Flimp, Zooby Doober, and Clementine begins a tryst with Zooby’s hapless assistant, Smib.

It is delivered with a tremendous amount of mirth by a young and enthusiastic cast...However, there is some unevenness that detracts a bit from the bubbly zaniness...There are some plot holes and logistical loopholes in terms of world building...The largest hurdle to overcome in experiencing this play is the sound balance...A few body mics on major characters would make a world of difference.”
