Access Theater presents the New York premiere of a play about the fading love affair between an ardent young woman and a much older writer.
'Denmark' explores themes of honesty, faithfulness, and the impossibility of hiding ourselves. As the young woman's family descends upon their beach house and discovers her May-December romance, no secret can be kept guarded. This mood of lyrical confrontation impacts every other relationship as well: husband and wife, parent and child, sister and brother, and even how the characters see themselves.
