About the Show

Part of Theater for the New City's 2017 Dream Up Festival: This multimedia work examines the many issues facing African-American college students involved in Greek life.

Set at an L.A. arts school, this show explores themes of identity, race, and sexuality. Many students are dealing with closely held secrets as they attempt to finish out the semester with their friends. A young woman struggles to come to terms with her sexual orientation. A transman, living in a fraternity with his brothers, longs to reveal his identity. A runway is incorporated into the show for a number of fashion, musical, and poetic interludes.
