Great acting, Enchanting, Great singing, Entertaining, Delightful

See it if you 're interested in old movie stars and stories with a heart. It's a beautiful production with a great cast.

Don't see it if you don't like small productions with minimal design elements.

Enchanting two-hander bio-play with music

See it if Life and career of Doris Day, with songs she sang along the way. Tiffan Borelli nails Doris and David Beck plays an excellent piano with her

Don't see it if David Beck also acts all the men in Doris's life -- some kind and some not so nice. A delightful evening for Day devotees and younger fans

Great singing, Slow, Thought-provoking, Entertaining, Absorbing

See it if Tiffan Borelli does an impressive job recreating Day's triumphs & tragedies while giving a great rendition of her hits Good support by Beck

Don't see it if The DIY aspect of the show is problematic but as we get caught up in Day's crippling codependency it seldom matters Slideshow is a big help

Great singing, Entertaining

See it if Tiffan Borelli delightful Doris Day. Nostalgic songs. Darkness behind the legend.

Don't see it if Disappointing piano playing - technically limited and musically uninspired - really hurt the evening. Odd lecture demonstration format.

Entertaining, Ambitious, Great acting, Great singing

See it if you're a fan of the performers onstage, the Doris Day era, or both. Ms. Borelli gives us an iconic portrayal of an icon.

Don't see it if you believe theatre should be a SHOW and not a TELL. The playwright and director have noble intentions, but it's a PowerPoint with songs.

There comes a discernible point, however, when it seems more of her reactions are surprises than not, and many times her shares are simply too raw and vulnerable for a celebrity to be disclosing to an audience of animal lovers who’ve merely convened to catch a glimpse of the star and to support her animal foundation. Ultimately, the premise which brings her onto the stage is unrealistic, but fortunately isn’t so distracting that it consistently impedes enjoyment.

“Borelli charms the audience, first performing Day’s debut song Day by Day, and singing Day’s first hit song Sentimental Journey. Older adults filled the audience, who appreciated the chance to enjoy music from the past.”

“Though there are portions of 14 songs packed into the production’s 90 minutes, the play is not so much a musical as it is a biographical drama with musical interludes...The show-and-tell structure of the production is occasionally broken up with flashbacks to unhappy times...her presentation includes numerous slides that catch her unawares, allowing entry to parts of her life she would otherwise not want to discuss.”
