Funny, Great acting, Great writing, Delightful, Clever

See it if you want to laugh at a simple situation taken to the extreme by two talented actors who give a wonderful, engaging performance.

Don't see it if if you do not know Spanish or do not want to read subtitles in English, otherwise don't miss it if you like comedy.

Well constructed, Well played, Poignant, Funny, Clever

See it if you’d like to see a sympathetic but stinging comedy that exposes the insecurities of the contemporary middle-aged man.

Don't see it if you’re a man who can’t bear to watch as men’s great frailties are exposed (& skewered), or don’t speak Spanish & hate dealing with subtitles Read more

Entertaining, Great acting

See it if You want to see two incredible actors. Play was incredibly well written even though I don’t speak Spanish I didn’t mind the subtitles

Don't see it if You don’t speak Spanish and don’t want to follow the subtitles that are very nicely displayed on the front of your seat Read more

Entertaining, Cliched

See it if you enjoy fast paced comedy that often flip the comic and the straight man.

Don't see it if you don't understand Spanish. The subtitles are a little behind the dialogue and incomplete.

Clever, Funny, Great acting, Fluffy, Raunchy

See it if You want to laugh at a lot of “hot air”. The actors are hilarious in a comedic Indecent Proposal type plot.

Don't see it if Seeing something with captions is not for you. Show is in Spanish with English captions on a TelePrompTer in front of your seat.

Cliched, Slow, Funny, Great acting, Dated

See it if you want an evening of light, simplistic, stereotypically Latin male machismo farse objectifying women, no intellectual element, good acting

Don't see it if you do not understand Spanish and dislike subtitles-some jokes lost because translation to English slow/incomplete, though better than most

Clever, Entertaining, Great acting

See it if you are up for a show with unexpected surprising twists. These 2 actors are up to the task of entertaining & surprising us

Don't see it if you prefer a show in English without subtitles.

Enchanting, Entertaining, Clever, Great staging, Great acting

See it if You would like to see a supremely well acted verbal pass de deux

Don't see it if You hate reading translation subtitles

“We are thoroughly entertained by the twists and turns of loan negotiation...We engage in the proceedings as though we are seated in a third chair at the table...De Lombana has us laughing all the way...During the evening we get funny lessons in negotiating, lovemaking, and the use of the eyes and hands to express ineffable emotions...A duet and a pas de deux. Go see it to appreciate its enchanting humor.”
