Locked in the Attic Productions presents a new dark comedy about an emerging playwright facing the trials and tribulations of life in theater.

Things aren't going well for playwright Rick McCabe. He is hammered down by his tyrant of a girlfriend. To add pain to injury, a mysterious theater critic, Albert Fish, rips McCabe apart in a scathing review of his latest production. The star of the show, washed-up Gorgeous Marty Makers, struggles with confidence. Following tragedy, a quizzical Detective Billy Catskill berates McCabe with questions no one seems to know the answers to. And then Gorgeous’ daughter Lulu, a practicing Satanist, shows up and teaches McCabe what it means to fend for one’s self.

See it if You are in Astoria and have an hour and a half to kill. I'm glad I went. Kudos to LITA.

Don't see it if you expect high production value. The inspector and ex-girlfriend will make you chuckle a few times.
