See it if great singing & dancing with a migrant theme peeks your interest. True, sad & sometimes disturbing displays of courage & perseverance.

See it if you are interested in touching immigrant stories supported by beautiful music. The structure is simple, but it works.

Don't see it if you have no interest in immigrants and their struggles or are looking for a full blown musical.

4/5 Stars "It's refreshing that 'Fandango' is not solely a sob story...The characters have dreams and desires that go beyond the difficulties they face...The dialogue sometimes slips into exposition or didacticism...'Fandango' teaches its lessons best when it targets our hearts, not our heads."

"'Fandango for Butterflies (and Coyotes)' never quite coalesces as drama, but it takes unerring aim at one's heart. It also stands as a devastating refutation of the current administration's disingenuous presentation of immigrants as criminals and miscreants."
