Riveting, Intense, Fresh, Like olivier and branagh, gk wells directs and stars

See it if you want a to see a wildly talented actor (Wells) in a coherent, lucid, accessible Hamlet. An unusual, meaty interpretation.Stunning moments

Don't see it if you need WS fully traditional. Or you object to an uneven cast. Still, you'll hear all the lines and understand them! Hard seats, free tix.

Visceral staging, George wells = spectacular, Smart cutting, Welcome twists & interp, Must see

See it if want 2 experience George Wells painfully understood & viscerally presented Hamlet & want different interp on the usual proceedings, just go

Don't see it if fear this interp will not reinforce your pre-existing ideas of HAMLET, need a theatre seat, hate helicopter fly overs, want 2 B indoors

Ambitious, Exciting, Clear, Trimmed down, Moving

See it if you would like to see a compact, clear (if quirky) rendering of the most celebrated play in the English language in an outdoor setting.

Don't see it if you do not like productions that take significant liberties with classic texts. Read more

Intense, Epic, Entertaining

See it if Muscular production that emphasized the play's action, with some strong (if unexpected) choices throughout.

Don't see it if Some extraordinarily strong acting, though some others less impressive. Glad we went, and grabbed a drink in Riverside Park afterwards!
