Every summer, exciting downtown companies are invited to present their latest projects. Ice Factory is a place where artists can take risks, try out new ideas, and bring their projects to a new level. This year's pieces include a choral play set during Byzantine Empire, playwright Charles Mee's exploration of outsider artist James Castle, a mash-up of 50s sci-fi, and many others. Each show plays four performances over as many days. For more information, visit the festival's official website

Absorbing, Great staging

See it if you are interested in seeing how directors use the space.

Don't see it if you're expecting glamour.

Absorbing, Edgy, Great acting, Intelligent, Intense

See it if You're all about supporting new theatre and you enjoy shows that make you question everything about life. No mindless entertainment here.

Don't see it if You're not a fan of very contemporary and unique pieces of work.
