Every summer, the most exciting downtown companies are invited to present their latest projects. Ice Factory is a place where artists can take risks, try out new ideas, and bring their projects to a new level, including a dance theater adaptation of the Euripides’ tragedy The Bacchae, a Kabuki-inspired theatrical meditation on and celebration of the aging process, and a physical theatre piece exploring the human body as art and as machine.
