About the show

Part of BAM Next Wave, this new work is a hands-on, communal examination of our relationship to touch. More…

From the show:

See, smell, taste, listen, touch. Which of our sensory actions is the one you least consider?

Part laboratory, part expedition, and part meditation, "In Many Hands" is a hands-on, communal examination of our relationship to touch. New Zealand-bred artist Kate McIntosh does away with the stage and performers, convening a small group of spectators for an intimate shared adventure through the particularities and nuances of our tactile sense. Prepare to have your attention awakened and your curiosity tickled.
