About the show

American Theatre of Actors presents a meta-comedy about what happens when a character from a play comes to life and shows up at rehearsal. More…

Director/writer Jessica is about to begin rehearsals for her new play when the character of "Lorrie" shows up in the flesh with a new draft of the script in hand, throwing everything into chaos. Jessica and her actors try to cope with Lorrie's demands but things quickly unravel in this comedy about the fine line between reality and fantasy.

for a previous production "One of the best comedies I’ve seen on the festival stage in a really long time…’It’s All About Lorrie’ impressed the hell out of me and I can't stop thinking about it. The script is tight, clever, full of theatrical references theatre lovers will appreciate and enjoy. The lines are fast and funny…It’s a remarkable work and I was grateful to have seen it…At the center of this excellent play is the incredible Wilson. I can’t gush enough about how perfectly this young talent commanded the role." Full Review
