Avg Score

Absorbing, Ambitious, Edgy, Relevant, Confusing

See it if You like edgy suspenseful sort of futuristic, sort of sci-fi, sort of military drama. Good attempt on a shoestring budget.

Don't see it if You don’t like small theatre where you have to use your imagination a lot. They do a lot with a little here but you need to “see” it.

Ambitious, Banal, Slow, Edgy

See it if This one need as some rework. It could be good, cia...spy vs spy, but not clear or linear enough.

Don't see it if You want a well written script. A story that is more consistent.

Banal, Dizzying, Excruciating, Poor story

See it if An apt title for this meandering story with a mediocre script. High school-esque performances and mediocre staging. I just wanted to leave.

Don't see it if You want a quality theatrical experience. Also it was very warm in the space. Several people nodded off.

Clever, Disappointing, Edgy

See it if closing night liked the effort and the a concept and the art studio as an entrance

Don't see it if too late . but some work is needed i to refine the play. The set needs more work. In summer the theater needs better A/C

Quirky, Dizzying, Confusing, Relevant, Insipid

See it if you want to see some young actors doing a commendable job with a script that needs some tightening up. It has potential. Tech was good+.

Don't see it if you are bothered by an unfinished feel: story ends abruptly, is slow at parts and can be confusing.

Ambitious, Absorbing, Intense, Thought-provoking, Confusing

See it if You enjoy psychological dramas that require you to figure out the characters' motivations. You like dark comedy. You like spy stories.

Don't see it if You want a clear, easy to understand story & character intentions. You don't like not having all the answers. You don't like CIA stories.

Confusing, Excruciating, Disappointing

See it if You like a group of scenes trying to portray various angles of conspiracy theories, trust no one, and mind games unsuccessfully.

Don't see it if You want a show with a meaningful plot or characters you mildly care about.

Some potential / needs polish, Confusing yet riveting / suspenseful, Book not quite tight / still sowing its roots, Edgy & intense dark-comedy / well-paced

See it if you enjoy unsettling dark-comedies that keep you guessing & make you think, by youngish performers doing their best w/what they're given.

Don't see it if you prefer shows all tied-up & neatly wrapped in a pretty package. Not happening here. YOU have to do the work w/all the twists & turns.

Also Saw it the day before closing-nite.... Read more Read less

Suspenseful, Disappointing, Confusing, Intense, Quirky

See it if You enjoy spy thrillers. Want a play with an abundance of suspense. If you enjoyed the movie The Recruit, this one's for you.

Don't see it if You want a polished play with characters with consistant motivations and a resolution to the suspenseful elements of the play.

Great acting, Disappointing, Quirky

See it if You don't mind shows that require a great deal of patience and imagination

Don't see it if Great acting is not enough to satisfy you for a very long 85-90 minutes

Confusing, Intense

See it if This script had no clarity. .I was lost in confusion.

Don't see it if You want clarity and a good storyline.

Great acting, Confusing, Raunchy, Needs more work, Abrupt ending

See it if you like the spy vs spy genre, suspense dramas, CIA mind-games & hostile interrogations, experimental one-acts in a nontraditional space

Don't see it if you want a well-developed plot that makes sense, characters you care about, a satisfying ending, memorable dialogue--a few lines that stick

Also The cast is capable and the opening scene is riveting. But the rest of... Read more Read less

See it if If military training interests you

Don't see it if You prefer theater to be less obscure

Confusing, Cliched, Quirky, Disappointing, Banal

See it if you enjoy CIA related plays and don't mind confusing plays that don't really go much of anywhere.

Don't see it if you want a tightly wound plot that goes somewhere and has characters that you care about and related to.

Disappointing, Confusing, Disjointed

See it if You want to see a raw play that’s not quite done. The concept is interesting, but it’s hard to follow or identify with the characters.

Don't see it if You need a tight script and developed characters. Their personalities changed so quickly that I just didn’t care about them.

Slow, Disappointing, Great acting

See it if You want to see good acting and ambiance without a great story.

Great acting, Relevant, Edgy, Intense

See it if It has a great cast of four capable actors. The play keeps you guessing who is your friend and who is your foe. The ending came bit quickly.

Don't see it if You don’t buy the premise of the CIA setups and the apocalypse is near.

Edgy, Intense, Slow, Disjointed, Disappointing

See it if The show attempts to look at soldiers and psychological games. It's interesting to see the pieces that do work.

Don't see it if Too short for its ambition, the scenes seem disjointed and to the end unearned. The threat on the outside is never sold properly

Confusing, Great acting, Aimless

See it if You want to see some great young actors, enjoy seeing new work in intimate performance spaces, like plot twists

Don't see it if A jumbled plot - many of the scenes are quite funny and stand well on their own, but it's hard to keep track of the main conflict

Disappointing, Dizzying

See it if You want to see decent acting, regardless of content

Don't see it if you are looking for a brilliantly-written script. Personally, I thought each of the actors did a fine job with the material.

Also The script was painful. Sorry.

Thought-provoking, Intense, Profound, Relevant, Riveting

See it if like deep, thought provoking plays that don’t provide answers but force you to come to your own conclusions about very serious issues

Don't see it if You can’t follow a fast moving, dark play. If you want a feel good, entertaining night this is not for you Be prepared to think at this play

Intense, Edgy, Great acting, Thought-provoking, Unsatisfying ending

See it if You enjoy the sci-fi and spy thriller genres.

Don't see it if You aren't a fan of psychological thrillers, complicated and toxic interpersonal relationships, flawed protagonists, or unresolved endings.

Clever, Great acting, Funny, Quirky, Entertaining

See it if You enjoy dark comedy, excellent acting, and over all fun night of theatre. lots of twists and turns - a lost episode of Black Mirror.

Don't see it if You don't like non-traditional venues. You don't like tongue-in-cheek black comedies about sexual politics. You don't like antiheros.

Entertaining, Funny, Great acting, Great staging, Thought-provoking

See it if You enjoy dark comedy and spy themes. The play deals with questions of trust at the “end of the world.” Fun ride, great acting!

Don't see it if You don’t enjoy dark comedy, “apocalyptic themes”, or want to see the use of guns on stage.

Ambitious, Funny, Great acting, Intense

See it if * issues of "trust" have been on your mind. *if you want to see a developing script well-acted. * if you're curious about CIA dystopia.

Don't see it if *you aren't interested in flawed characters and a quickly escalating plot. * you don't do the whole downtown theater thing.
