Long, Top-notch community theater, Charming, Absorbing

See it if you enjoy summer stock (few of actors are Equity). Some gr voices. I like no-miking; gd musicians. Jo is very gd. LW script is lacking.

Don't see it if you want gr lyrics. Brway show (w Sutton F!) lasted 4 mos. But GP makes the most of sentimental LW. Weakest perf=Marmee. Well-staged. Fun!

Great acting, Great staging, Slow, Entertaining, Ambitious

See it if you like good community theater-cast pours themselves into a demanding production, singing, acting & resetting the stage in great costumes.

Don't see it if you're bothered by not hearing it all: sometimes music downs voices and speaking and singing away from audience is lost as there are no mics

Well staged & acted, Resonant, Disappointing, Slow, Absorbing

See it if Stafford's Jo & Boyaggi's Marmee keep this musicalization of Alcott's classic involving w/Gelles' brisk, competent staging on expansive set

Don't see it if Unfortunately, the music & lyrics are mediocre at best Too many lame songs lengthen & ultimately undermine this period tale of "girl power"

Great score, Thought-provoking, Romantic, Relevant, Great writing

See it if you enjoy classic stories of female empowerment, or characters who defy norms. This is a very fine staging with heartfelt performances.

Don't see it if you’re turned off by sentimentality or prefer more contemporary settings.

Disappointing, Delightful, Dated, Slow, Great singing

See it if You love the story of Little Women. You want to support a wonderful, inclusive, community theatre. You want a very talented musical cast.

Don't see it if You want varied, interesting music that moves the characters & story along. Everything's on 1 bland level & merely repeats what's already... Read more

Nostalgic, Entertaining, Funny, Great singing, Delightful

See it if you want to see a surprisingly talented cast in a tiny Brooklyn venue. Thoroughly enjoyable. Not Broadway or even close, but a great show!

Don't see it if you don't like Brooklyn or small venues.

Intelligent, Excellent costumes, Nostalgic, Delightful

See it if you'd like a classic staging of a beloved story. The costumes alone are worth a visit.

Don't see it if you don't like the story or classic tales with period costumes. Actors are not mic'ed and their voices drowned out sometimes. Read more
