Entertaining, Edgy, Absorbing, Intense, Great acting

See it if You enjoy innovative treatment of classic plays, are not a literary purist, do not need big fancy sets, enjoy performance in intimate spaces

Don't see it if You enjoy classic plays presented only as the playwright intended, cannot reconcile seeing modern settings of classic plays

Exquisite, Entertaining, Enchanting, Delightful, Clever

See it if Your interested in a modern twist on an everlasting classic. This was one of the best shows ever and I'm a creature of the arts.

Don't see it if If you are not into the new age style, modern twists, or an old head!

Don't see it if You have the same mindset as the critic that rated this a 55. Some people just don't seem to appreciate modern twists on classics. Read more

Intense, Profound, Masterful, Epic

See it if You are interested in watching an amazing group of actors put a brilliant modern twist onto a Shakespeare classic. Best I've seen!

Don't see it if You are spooked by the thought of witches. Also, if you can't handle seeing fake guns being used to depict acts of violence. Read more

Don't see it if If you’re looking for a light and funny evening at the theatre this wonderful show might not be your cup of tea.

Masterful, Profound, Intense, Great staging, Absorbing

See it if You are ready to be thrilled. The lead actor was engaging from beginning to end. The rest of the case was just as amazing.

Don't see it if If you are not into smaller stages / small casts. The director was very resourceful with this one and found a way to make it work.

Great acting, Great staging, Great writing, Epic, Clever

See it if U appreciate off-off-Broadway shows that will make you question why they aren't on Broadway, and if you appreciate true artistic creativity~

Don't see it if If you only value musicals. This also wouldn't be a good first show to bring a child to. Read more

Theatre's Leiter Side
April 28th, 2019

"A production focusing on the titular character's madness and the military context surrounding many of the play's events. The result is an expressive, macho rendition that, at times-because it's so involved in the passion it's trying to generate-fails to clearly tell the story…The actors shift about awkwardly, abandoning clear recitation. The performance space…is never activated nor made cogent. At times, the actors speak facing upstage...a definite distraction."
