In this 'Macbeth,' witchcraft abounds and passions play against ambition in a deadly game for tribal control. In this mythical setting, a group of AWOL soldiers have insinuated themselves into the local populace. After a time, the natives seek to wrest back their homeland with the aid of their spirit world. This fast-paced 80-minute adaptation features a multi-cultural cast, indigenous choreography, and exuberant stage combat. Note: In addition to the indoor shows, there will be two FREE outdoor performances on the Cadman Plaza Park War Memorial lawn on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18 at 6pm.

See it if you want to see a classic performance of MacBeth with an exciting concept. The enthusiastic witches are particularly worthwhile experiencing

Don't see it if you are looking for elaborate sets - this is bare stage so it is the acting is everything.
