A two-person, extremely physical adaptation of the classic play, Macbeth.

This 55 minute, stripped down adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth zeroes in on the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth to retell their story from the perspective of trauma survivors. Bold movement throughout the piece showcases the couple’s pain, despair, and distance from their own humanity.

Make Thick My Blood examines the interaction between gender, power, trauma, and magic. Adapted by an Army veteran and his wife, the show fuses extreme physicality with Shakespeare’s text to depict the truth of complex PTSD.

See it if you would enjoy a short take on the Shakespeare play that shows all the lunacy and violence. Sound was very good in support of action.

Don't see it if you're not familiar with the play, it would be hard to follow the plot. Minimal scenery, small stage used effectively.
