Riveting, Great acting, Great writing, Exquisite, Absorbing

See it if you like listening to a great storyteller who performs the action in a beatnik era setting with a great jazz trio, perfect sound and lights.

Don't see it if you want more than a one-hander, do not like the beatnik era style or hate jazz music.

Great writing, Slow, Thought-provoking, Confusing, Ambitious

See it if The 'charming good boy' Justin Elizabeth Sayre is riveting in this poetic jazz-infused spoken word piece on the ravages of mental illness

Don't see it if The density of the piece & the intensity of Sayre's performance require a demanding degree of focus especially when the material turns dark

See it if you want to witness a master storyteller at the top of their craft + love poetry, queer art, & live jazz.

Thought-provoking, Relevant, Intense, Intelligent, Ambitious

See it if So cool to have this searing, early life story riffing with awesome jazz trio and Beat authors at La Mama! Brilliant!Sit at little cafe table

Don't see it if The audience was also fun and friendly, some cool outfits, and there was a free pre-show in lobby featuring excellent young queer poets! :D!
