Insipid, Poor direction, Banal, Bad writing, Terrible score

See it if you like new musicals for the sake of new musicals. Great concept yields little. Uneven cast makes the poor material barely tolerable.

Don't see it if you're expecting anything profound or insightful. It's shallow vapid and the music is painfully generic. Not worth the trip to LIC.

Theatre's Leiter Side
October 17th, 2019

"The concept is nifty...What begins as the progressive story of a young woman's career as a painter surprisingly devolves into typical romcom trappings…You may not leave the theatre with any more meaningful revelations than Alice had, but chances are you'll have had a pretty good time."
