Thought-provoking, Relevant, Great writing, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want to hear and think about some of the worries black teenagers and their mothers face in our society. Stellar acting, great play!

Don't see it if you don't want to be reminded that there are still major problems in our school system or you just in general don't like serious plays.

Edgy, Relevant, Thought-provoking, Great acting, Ambitious

See it if Superbly acted production of a very good play. Powerful writing, relevant and timely. Lots to think about and discuss.

Don't see it if Very talky, over-written and lots of grandstanding speeches. Characters are often more like symbols and not real people.

See it if GP's sharp production of Morisseau's multi-faceted look as a young black man navigates the educational system Leads Clarke & Djombana shine

Don't see it if Morisseau tries to cover a lot of bases & sometimes falters but always on the side of interesting Mother/son conflict retains our focus

Intense, Great writing, Thought-provoking, Relevant, Absorbing

See it if you like plays with strong messaging that present multiple views of life issues by family and friends. Good acting and strong projections.

Don't see it if you want instant satisfaction or are triggered by arguments - this play builds a bit slowly at first but becomes more and more powerful.

See it if you enjoy shows that hold a mirror up to society. Pipeline explores some of the difficulty of being a Black teenager and mother in America.

Don't see it if you need a break from reality.
