About the show

Nicu's Spoon and Identity Theatre Company present this steampunk-inspired, disablity-questioning take on Shakespeare's famous bloodthirsty king. More…

In a society where all are disabled, where the very fabric of the world reflects disability, the poor and perfectly formed Richard uses his meager non-disabled talents to try to become king. This production turns every audience expectation about this classic play on its head and demands an answer to ‘what is disability?’

Avg Score

Great acting, Edgy

See it if you know the play rather well and/or like to experience classics edgy absorbing and clever

Don't see it if you like your Shakespeare traditional and uncut

Clever, Entertaining, Refreshing, Ambitious

See it if you like a more modern interpretation on Shakespeare, and like experimentation in theater

Don't see it if you're easily bored or if you don't like background; this show is heavy on context

“Richard III: A Dis-Honourable Tale” hasn't been reviewed by any Critics (yet!)
