This summer The Greenhouse Ensemble brings you the timeless tale of "Romeo and Juliet." More…
From the show:
The Capulet and Montague households have been embroiled in a bloody fight for as long as anyone in Verona, Italy can remember. The death toll is mounting, and it seems that the best thing anyone can do is keep the two sides as far from each other as possible. But when young Romeo Montague crashes the Capulet ball, he falls head-over-heels in love with young Juliet Capulet – and she falls just as in love with him. What ensues is one of the most romantic and devastating love stories in the theatrical canon.
See it if You already know if you like this story or not. Their Juliet is great; almost everyone else in the play is at least very good. Worth seeing.
Don't see it if No AC in the theater, which detracted from our enjoyment. There's a very brief nude scene, so avoid if that's not your cuppa.
See it if You like Shakespeare. In my opinion, besides the hot weather, the unnecessary yelling didn't enhance the intensity but reduce the enjoyment
Don't see it if Almost 3 hours running time in a not well air conditioned theater is excruciating to you.
See it if Can’t see it - run is over.
Don't see it if You’re looking for top notch Shakespeare.
See it if What can I say, it is a nearly uncut R & J for 3 hours. It’s an ensemble, so the acting skills are uneven, but certainly with great efforts!

See it if You like Shakespeare and intimate settings and supporting local acting ensembles.
Don't see it if You can't handle a full-on Shakespeare play or if you think Romeo and Juliet are insufferable twits.
See it if You enjoy supporting local theater and young actors, or just might love Shakespeare.
Don't see it if You don't want to sit through 3+ hours of an amateur production that radiates vision but lacks successful execution.
See it if You’re a Shakespeare lover! This is his most iconic play, done with so much heart and skill! Bravo to the cast and crew!

See it if You enjoy passionate performances, original staging, and accessible versions of Shakespeare.
Don't see it if You don’t like long plays, or black box style theater. The theater gets hot.
See it if This is a well thought out version, smart and well directed. Juliet is a mesmerizing fresh breath of air, her dramatic depth is fascinating.
Don't see it if You don’t like long plays
See it if You want to enjoy some great indie theater and really great individual performances from the cast. Really solid acting.
Don't see it if You’re expecting broadway production value. This show demonstrates high quality acting.
See it if You love Shakespeare and appreciate great acting. The description to detail is remarkable—stage set and costumes are great.
Don't see it if The only negative was that the theatre does not have an ac.
See it if If you have a real and true appreciation for the Bard’s work. In the true tradition of Shakespeare, this cast soars.
Don't see it if You aren’t willing to sit in emotional communication with a vulnerable and soul-searching cast for three hours.
