(On hiatus until May 7) Frigid New York presents this evening of dance, clown, and mime. More…
From the show:
A mixture of dance, clown, and mime, all with the intent to make audiences laugh without any of us having to learn our lines - I mean, er - using body language? Yeah, that's it, body language. Artsy stuff like that. Using our head, shoulders, knees, and toes, we'll be contorting and wiggling into your hearts and nightmares.
See it if You're a fan of mime work, or enjoy seeing up and coming performers stretch themselves. Or if you just like goofy humor!
Don't see it if You want to see a traditional play or storytelling. This is entirely sketches with thematic arcs but no narrative ones.
See it if you like off-beat, cool comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Don't see it if you don't like fun, or if you only want to see mimes pretend to be in a box.
See it if You like indie theatre and enjoy supporting the arts. The concept is quite humorous.
Don't see it if if you want to see broadway play or musical. The tickets are $6. Enjoy some fun indie theatre!
See it if You love slapstick comedy! It's a high energy and goofy show with a great cast. The makeup and wigs are so cool!
Don't see it if You dont have a good sense of humor or are expecting a traditional or classical mime show. This is more in a comedic clowning style.
See it if It is so fun and cute! Actors have great improvisation skills! Their facial expressions are AMAZING! Defined see it!
Don't see it if If you don’t like comedy sketch shows.
See it if "Silent but Deadly" is a delightfully-fun sketch style mime show. The make-up, wigs and costumes perfectly compliment the performances.
Don't see it if I wouldn't bring any young children to the show as some of the sketches have mild PG-13 humor. Also, Don't go if you're afraid of clowns. XD
