Intelligent, Refreshing, Clever, Great singing, Entertaining

See it if you’d enjoy Sondheim’s music sung well with great video and photographs supported commentary that tell the back story of his music and life.

Don't see it if you want a musical with sets and costumes-this is eight singers and a pianist presenting the songs with a little choreography and no mics.

Multicultural cast, Unamplified b’way voices, Cliched format, Cabaret presentation, Great singing

See it if You like theatrical back stories, a combination of Broadway history and gossip told through videos of Sondheim & illustrated with live songs

Don't see it if You are tired of the video on stage format. There is no plot, just multiple stories with names you might recognize. At 2.5 hours it’s long

See it if You want a graat night of theatre. Wonderful cast seems to perform just for you, very up close. Great theatre history lesson.

Don't see it if You’re looking for straight drama.

Great vocal arrangements, musical direction, Fine costumes, lighting, direction, Talented cast, great singing, Ambitious, Entertaining

See it if You're up for a bare-bones, lovingly presented and sung evening of Sondheim, complete with Sondheim's video narration and commentary.

Don't see it if You're not a fan, though it's a well-performed intro to his work, personality & world view; it might persuade you, even though it's in Bklyn Read more

Indulgent, Entertaining, Dated

See it if Sondheim's life story and songbook is sung by eight talented performers, guided and interrupted by a video of Sondheim

Don't see it if two and a half-hour long cabaret to video --sort of a PBS bio with live performers except created by Sondheim to control his legacy Read more
