The play follows Betty, a former dancer from 1950s Hollywood musicals, now living immersed in memories of her past. On her birthday, her daughters Julie and Nicca visit and discover that Betty’s present reality is intertwined with hallucinations of her former husband, film director Nicholas Ray, and actor James Dean. As past and present blur, the family is forced into an uneasy reckoning shaped by memory, absence, and unfinished emotional ties.
