Confusing, Uneven, Entertaining

See it if Mostly entertaining and cute. Enjoyable.

Don't see it if The problem is that the main character crosses the line between quirky and very unlikable. What does a woman get from a Gett? A divorce. Read more

Uneven

See it if I enjoyed parts of this show. Jennifer Westfieldt is a joy to watch. Her parts were my favorite! Wish she had more scenes.

Don't see it if The lead is somewhat unlikable, so halfway through I began to lose interest. Feel like it can improve, it needs more comedic moments.

Disjointed, Superficial, Quirky, Uneven, Clever

See it if you'd like the romantic adventures of a quirky yg woman that's well directed. Not a lot of deep content, but it's entertaining.

Don't see it if you want to fully understand how the relationship grew/withered. Bare bones given. And the scenes are arbitrary just spots of time. Read more

See it if engaging story of young JewIsh woman's/Ida's attempt 2 find love; hilarious mother-daughter battles; wonderful Jennifer Westfeldt

Don't see it if many parts are obscure/script doesn't enlighten; play called "The Gett"/Jewish divorce, should focus more on how/why marriage failed Read more

Uneven, Entertaining

See it if into a 4-hander, the humorous adventures of the playwright/performer - love, sex, mom, and everything Jewish. Quite a few jokes work.

Don't see it if well... I am not sure this is the best platform for this talented writer. Read more

" 'The Gett' falls short of the Stoppardian sweep perhaps initially envisioned, while proving a bit of a dud on the romcom front."
