About the show

BREAD Arts Collective presents a roving, immersive theatrical experience that uses the historic Green-Wood Cemetery as a central, and essential, character. More…

What is it that makes a good life? And a good death? 'The Great American Casket Company' would like you to believe that they have the answers, but do they? Does anyone? As the sun sets on 478 acres, you’ll be led down a performance rabbit hole, created exclusively for the Green-Wood Cemetery. You’ll become a part of the show, too, as you respond and interact to what’s happening around you. By the end of your journey, you may come to some conclusions about life’s big mysteries. Or perhaps, as is so often the case, your experience will simply raise more questions. Note: A large portion of this event is conducted on foot, so wear comfortable shoes.

See it if You'd enjoy an evening in a beautiful cemetery & don't mind a hefty price tag, some excessively eager tour guides, and Christian conversion.

Don't see it if You want actors playing different objectives from one another, dislike religious dogma being snuck into your theatre, and seek coherent art.
