This new drama follows the journey of Doug, a teenager navigating his way through the urban minefields of the 1950s Bronx. It is a story of struggle, broken homes, first loves, forlorn dreams, and ultimately, hope.

This is the dark side of the fabulous 50s, without the rock-n-roll and fifteen cents a slice pizza. The Bronx was a tough place to be sixteen and independent with no family to fall back on, where every day was a struggle to survive. Yet, armed with a dream and ferocious determination, Doug learns to accept the hand he was dealt and sail by the winds of his faith, hope, and courage.
