Ambitious, Confusing, Edgy, Decent portrayals of repellent characters

See it if You are interested in a story about young men patrolling a border wall and acting out. Machismo, sexism and xenophobia are all on display.

Don't see it if If you don't like seeing characters with conservative, misogynistic xenophobic viewpoints.

See it if A play about how some people view and regard illegal immigrants is something you might find enjoyable, and you are okay with stereotypes.

Don't see it if You want to have a feel good experience. This play won't do it for you.


See it if You're looking for more reasons to give up male bonding.

See it if Three outstanding performances make this worth it. Especially Wyatt Fenner's hypnotic antagonist. He is utterly captivating.

Don't see it if The play itself is rather confusing, breaking the fourth wall and jumping in and out of the characters' imaginations. Tends to get muddled.

See it if You'd understand that patrolling the wall is based on the displaced anger of those who have little against those who have less.

Don't see it if Unwilling to ask hard questions: you let him do that? (stomp rights of women, immigrants, etc)? If you had a gun, where would you aim it?

See it if Don't. Read the play instead. This was a far too ambitious choice for amateurs. Poorly directed, weak acting, miscast.

Don't see it if You're Naomi Wallace. This cast and director just couldn't pull this off.

See it if You appreciate a socially conscious play which pulls no punches in exposing darker truths in each of us and our collective humanity.

Don't see it if You are easily upset by some adult subject matter, or prefer comedy and realism to drama with a taste for the occasional abstract.
