About the show

At 13, Ursa, Hannah, Linney, and Maeve live in their own world built of basements, secrets, loves, and backyard ghosts — until the last sleepover of the summer.  More…

High school looms, with the promise and threat of reinvention, and the group fractures as shifting beliefs and identities collide in a traumatic accident that none of them can explain. Four years later, questions and accusations fly as the survivors revisit the scene of the “crime” and try to understand what happened, what they have lost, and how to live now. Part of Project Y's 3rd annual Women in Theater Festival.

Ambitious, Confusing, Trite, Promising

See it if Actors get high marks for their energy & craft. See this promising playwright & actors though a bit more creative staging is needed.

Don't see it if Starts off well but at some point the script, staging, & costumes confuses the plot and the audience. Split timelines need extra care.

Great acting, Profound

See it if You love great writing and stories about young people.

Don't see it if You're too critical of others voices and experiences.

Indulgent, Disappointing, Fluffy

See it if You like boring plays about adolescent girls.

Don't see it if You want good theater.

During previews
Funny, Clever, Great acting

See it if wow. This was surprisingly powerful play! These actors have tremendous heart!

Don't see it if I really enjoyed how sensitive but yet powerful it was. If you don't like theatre with resonance, this isn't for you.

During previews
Absorbing, Resonant, Great writing

See it if you like really great writing and excellent acting by a really committed cast.

Don't see it if you are looking for fluff. This play is about a fierce core inside young women. And the cast does a great job!
