Ambitious, Interesting, Uneven, Slow, Quirky

See it if you see new musicals on the small stage-this one, a captivating story, some good acting & singing, live pianist, familiar tunes & fun lyrics

Don't see it if you want perfection: drags a bit with many scene changes, slow lighting, some need better voice projection. If you avoid strobe lights.

Uneven, Slow, Too long, Ambitious, Confusing

See it if You don't mind seeing shows with interesting constructs, but are also over written without proper story editing.

Don't see it if You like shows under two hours, especially shows that should be way under two hours.

Fluffy, Disappointing, Confusing, Cliched, Banal

See it if Was invited to this and something told me to pass on it. Stupid, banal and amateurish.

Don't see it if You want quality theater.

Disappointing, So-bad-it's-good, Sophomoric, Slow, Confusing

See it if You want to support a unique theater that is a staple of the off-off-broadway theatre community. Enjoy pieces that are so-bad-they're-good.

Don't see it if You have no tolerance for shows that are accidentally funny the wrong way. Dislike confusing stories with strange dramaturgical choices. Read more

Confusing, Hollow, Pretentious

See it if some of the performances and songs were interesting.

Don't see it if Tedious, slow, and self-important. An uninteresting subject matter that is made less watchable by the surreal nature of the story.

Boring, Confusing

See it if You like the actors

Don't see it if You are expecting something magical or better than a middle school script

What is a mystery inside a riddle wrapped in an enigma? A Winston Churchill question from 1939 aptly fits a play with music set in 1924 that toys at being a murder mystery. As a play with music "Who Murdered Love?" doesn't work. As a play without music, it doesn't work as well. It is Dadaism with Surrealist overtones, and Surrealism with Dadaist overtones, if anyone in the audience knows what Dada or Surreal means.
