Must see, Great singing, Great acting, Funny, Entertaining

See it if you are into old musicals. I've seen it with Bette Middler and loved it!

Don't see it if you are into modern musicals.

See it if One of the best musicals ever. Period. Character driven musical, sweeping songs. Sets, dancing. IT HAS IT ALL.

See it if You have a pulse. This classic is so much fun, with the iconic role of Mama Rose, great Sondheim songs and original characters abound.

Don't see it if Really? Who doesn't want to see Gypsy, in any of its incarnations. There is no reason not to see this treasure of a show.

Broadway's 2003 revival @ the shubert theater, Dir. by sam mendes w/ choreography by jerry mitchell, Bernadette peters as 'rose', Entertaining

See it if It was Opening night on Broadway and I actually ran into composer Stephen Sondheim (& got him to sign my Playbill). Everyone was smiling!!

Don't see it if If U don't like backstage Showbiz stories about bossy Stage moms and kids that grow up to be strippers (Gypsy Rose Lee), then you're CRAZY!!

Absorbing, Great acting, Great staging, Intense, Thought-provoking

See it if you want an incredibly well-acted show with powerful, memorable songs and a heavy story line.

Don't see it if you want something more family-friendly or something more current.

"Though the production gets off to a slow start, the show finds its footing in the middle of the first act...The creative team needs to work out a few mic and sound issues, including sets that become thunderous distractions as they're rolled offstage. But despite the kinks, the answer to Baby June's question 'May We Entertain You?' is yes, this 'Gypsy' sure can."
