See it if you love musical theater - this is it at its best. The music, performances, set, costumes - all flawless.

Don't see it if you don't like musicals or theater. There are people that don't, you know. And they sit next to me at parties for some reason.

"'She Loves Me' is a sustained reminder of the pleasures of exalted ordinariness...It succeeds in making you feel personally engaged by every one of its seven principal characters...It’s a world where even office antagonisms and anxiety can find an up-tempo synchronicity. And for those moments when you sense a song in your heart, there’s a first-class orchestra conveniently nearby to help you express yourself in a style that lives up to your bliss."

"The Roundabout gets so much right in a splendid, joy-stuffed production: casting, design and even the reduced orchestra...Benanti, besides looking as lovely as ever and earning her laughs, shows off an old-fashioned soprano with affecting vibrato. Levi slips into Georg’s skin with ease, exuding sweet modesty and just a pinch of hauteur. When he cartwheels across the stage during the exultant title song, you’re there with him, getting a contact high from his romantic bliss."

"Most classic musicals have a so-called charm song; 'She Loves Me' has nothing but...Though the director keeps the story moving swiftly and brightly, I couldn’t help wishing it were a little less bright..This is comedy, yes, but not farce, and a feeling of faint mistrust wafts off the stage...Something is missing; or is that just another romantic ideal needing to be knocked back to reality? If so, 'She Loves Me' is the show to do it. Listen with your imagination, and succumb to the ravishment."

"Perfection needs no commentary, so I’ll make it short and sweet: The Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of 'She Loves Me' is ideal...Scott Ellis’s fleet, warmhearted staging and Warren Carlyle’s witty dances do complete justice to Joe Masteroff’s charming book and the delicious Jerry Bock-Sheldon Harnick score: Every number pays off and every laugh lands with a bang...I do wish the orchestra contained a half-dozen more string players. All else is pure delight."

"'She Loves Me' is probably the best Broadway musical you’ve never heard of...The Roundabout Theatre Company presented a brilliant revival of the show 23 years ago, and now returns to it again, and I’m thrilled to say that while I have aged, 'She Loves' Me has not, not one bit. The score remains enchanting. One nit, though it’s a substantial one: At Studio 54, the orchestra is split between boxes high on either side of the stage. Not good."

"Broadway’s bewitching new 'She Loves Me' is as sweet and exhilarating as a first kiss...There’s very little that’s confused about Scott Ellis’ sparkling straight-up staging for the Roundabout. Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick’s score packs yearning and humor as it caresses the ears and heart. The boutique and its colorful characters are brought to life beautifully...Sometimes there’s actually too much of a good thing...Still, 'She Loves Me' casts a spell."

"The Roundabout Theatre Company’s enchanting Broadway revival of 'She Loves Me' is so charming, you kind of wish it would follow you home...The show is a special triumph for director Scott Ellis...Laura Benanti and Zachary Levi are endearing as the shy lovers in this intimate romantic comedy, the supporting cast constitutes a dream team, and the stagecraft is absolutely flawless...This little jewel of a musical may have been lost in its original setting, but we know better now."

"Roundabout Theatre Company's enchanting staging of 'She Loves Me' sends a message straight to the heart of romantic musical comedy lovers...It's also ideally cast, with an ensemble led by Laura Benanti. Add in Zachary Levi, projecting throwback charm with winning confidence...As an example of classic musical-comedy craftsmanship, it's beyond reproach...Everything falls into place in this richly satisfying production, which had me smiling from beginning to end. It's pure pleasure."
