Swedish-American labor activist Joe Hill may be most known from Joan Baez and Paul Robeson's classic folk song "I Dreamed I Saw Joe Hill Last Night," but this original new musical is telling more of Hill's story. In addition to his activism, Hill was an artist and the unfortunate victim of a police frame-up. Labor issues of the past and of today are blended through a series of songs and stories composed by show creator Dan Furman.
