See it if you have out of town visitors. Seeing the reactions of the people on the streets to the performers while being told about NYC needs a group
Don't see it if you do not enjoy unredeemed silliness and bad jokes. You will not be happy sitting on a bus with moderators pretending to be guides.
See it if a group of friends want to hang-out & enjoy NYC in a new & refreshing manner. Bit touristy, albeit informative, but we DID have a good time.
Don't see it if you don't have friends to chill & laugh with. It was a total goof, silly innocent fun. We are SO looking forward to the DRAG-SHOW version.
See it if You want to be entertained in a unique way in a moving vehicle and or your bored with traditional tours.
Don't see it if You get motion sickness and/or you do not want to be entertained in a moving vehicle.
See it if you want to see something different, make a very funny tour in a bus around Broadway and its surroundings.
Don't see it if you are not in the mood to be one hour and a half in a bus full of tourists visiting New York and watching important streets and landmarks. Read more
See it if you're an out-of-towner or with one who's visiting you. It's fun in a Disney tour kinda way.

See it if You like silly, touristy rides around the city with badly written scenes/sketches performed in the street.
Don't see it if If you are expecting a professionally designed tour around the theatre district. This bus ride is a silly and expensive disappointment
See it if You are new to NYC or want a refresher course - history of lower Manhattan. Somewhat Entertaining & amusing. TheRide-Downtown Experience.

"As a tour, 'The Ride' was least successful...The finest moments had nothing to do with the city’s dazzling stage sets—its buildings and avenues—but with the great crowds found within them, which is why 'The Ride' is best taken when the streets are packed...'The Ride,' then, begins in pure silliness, much of it not too funny, but when that suited tap-dancer finishes his bit, the tour takes on a cinematic aura. This is, after all, how so many movies and Broadway shows work."

“Even if you know the city, you haven't seen it from this panoramic view…The scripted commentary is easygoing and friendly, though sometimes the guides' chirpy banter feels a little forced. When it does, it's best to ignore them and keep your eyes focused on the city. What makes ‘The Ride’ unique are street performers positioned strategically along the bus route who get in on the action…The moments are surprisingly charming.”

“If you’re looking for a fresh way to see New York City without doing a regular old bus tour, then this is the experience for you. ‘The Ride’ is the most entertaining sightseeing tour around!...A super-fun tour filled with interactive performances, trivia, comedy, and more…It’s a must-do in the Big Apple!...Hilarious. “I gotta admit that this high-tech, very air-conditioned tour looked to be quite fun. And, well, it was that. And quite a bit more…This is not a cattle herd production like other tours, but rather a front-row seat to a series of intimate performances in the most active and intense city in the country. The contrast is stunning, the theatrics nothing short of delightful–even for this jaded non-tourist…In a city full of entertainment options, there is nothing quite like this.”
