A show that combines textiles and visual art with performers to spin a fable about death and rebirth
Curated by C. Finley, 'What A Glory to Be So Euphoric and Weak' is both an art installation as well as a performance piece.
Based on the Brazilian folkloric dance Bumba, Meu Boi, the show is a multimedia collaboration between textiles, soft sculptures, and performers, and tells the story of the death and resurrection of an ox - part creation myth, and part dystopian science-fiction romance.
