About the Show

Olivier Award winner Richard Nelson’s new play about the healing power of theatre.

An actor boards a train from Waterloo to Devon for a weekend with an old friend. As the countryside of the West Coast passes him by, he remembers the many happy summers spent there with his late partner Michael. As the train carries him towards his destination, our narrator takes audiences on their journies by way of his stories about Shakespeare, friends, career, and health.

Olivier Award winner Richard Nelson’s ('James Joyce's The Dead', 'Chess') funny new play was written especially for Olivier Award-winning actor Paul Jesson ('The Normal Heart').

See it if Impressive one man show. Nice enough story. Quite sad at times and others funny.

Don't see it if You fall asleep in warm theatres..Dude beside me nodded off and started snoring.
