A woman’s wartime return home reignites conflict, grief, and divided loyalties.

Years after leaving her family behind, Helen returns home following a war fought in her name. Her arrival exposes unresolved tensions between those closest to her, particularly her husband, who welcomes her return, and her childhood friend Cee, who remains deeply opposed to what her departure set in motion. Over the course of a single uneasy night in peacetime, old wounds resurface and loyalties begin to fracture. As personal histories are revisited, the play examines the emotional and social consequences of one woman’s decision to leave, and the lasting impact of war on intimate relationships.
