A new dark comedy by disability-led Birds of Paradise Theatre Company about the benefits system.

Chris is a proud woman who hates asking for help, but when her condition deteriorates, she has no choice but to claim benefits - something she never wanted to do.

Ralph believes in the system and he's here, in her home, to assess her & prove she is fit and capable of working. Can Chris persuade him to change his mind? And if not, how far will she go to save herself?

Scotland’s preeminent disability-led theatre company, Birds of Paradise, brings this conversation about the disabled experience of the state to the London stage.
