This musical adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s novel follows Jane Eyre from her difficult childhood as an orphan to her adulthood as a governess at Thornfield Hall. There she becomes involved with the estate’s owner, Edward Rochester, whose guarded behavior and hidden past draw her into a network of secrets, moral conflict, and emotional uncertainty. As Jane confronts betrayal, loss, and questions of independence, she is forced to rely on her own judgment and resilience.

Created by John Caird and Paul Gordon, the production brings together the novel’s romantic, gothic, and supernatural elements while focusing on Jane’s development into an autonomous and self-aware woman.
