About the Show

The world premiere of Frances Poet's warm-hearted production about love, marriage and family.

Maggie May and her husband Gordon first fell in love listening to the music of Rod Stewart in the 1970s and have grown old together in the years since. Now in their sixties, Maggie's memory isn't what it was and she sometimes struggles to find her words.

'Maggie May' was devised with a range of people who live with different types of dementia. This collaborative work influenced the story, the production's technical design elements as well the set and costumes.

A dementia-friendly production written by Frances Poet ('Fibres', 'Gut'). The production has captioned reminders to guide audiences from scene to scene.
