About the Show

The Royal Exchange Theatre's adaptation of Tennessee Williams' familial drama.

Former Southern belle, Amanda Wingfield, obsesses over finding a suitor for her shy and disabled daughter, Laura, who escapes into a world of glass figurines. Amanda's son, Tom, works in a warehouse but yearns for adventure. He brings home a coworker, Jim, for Laura, but the evening takes an unexpected turn...

Atri Banerjee ('Britannicus') directs this adaptation of Tennessee Williams' modern classic.
