About the Show

Tania Nwachukwu's celebration of African theatre practices and the power of telling your own story.

In telling the story about her life, North West London native Tasha shares tales about her childhood, and how she can't keep her houseplants alive. The distance between her and her green-fingered Igbo ancestors feels greater than ever.

The Storyteller also has an urgent story to tell: the story of Eze and the Kola tree. With the tree struggling to survive, the fruit that holds the memories of its people could be lost forever.
