A powerful dance triptych capturing the pioneering stream-of-consciousness writing of Virginia Woolf.

Woolf Works brings to life the imagination of Virginia Woolf, one of the 20th century’s most influential writers, through dance, music, and visual design. Drawing from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, The Waves, and other works, the ballet abandons linear storytelling in favor of a fluid, stream-of-consciousness structure that mirrors Woolf’s literary style.

The production received both an Olivier Award and a Critics’ Circle National Dance Award, celebrated for its innovation and its evocative tribute to Woolf’s creative spirit.
