Set in suburban Essex in 1977, Abigail’s Party follows the confident and overbearing Beverly as she hosts an evening of drinks, music, and socializing in her meticulously kept home. Joined by her husband Laurence, nervous new neighbours Angela and Tony, and the uneasy Sue from next door, the gathering begins with polite conversation and retro party snacks while Abigail’s noisy teenage party rages nearby.
