See it if You would like your kids to have a fun way of learning history.

Don't see it if The sound of occasional Boris & Lis jokes bore you. Not sure how they thought the sing-along to how wives of Henry 8th died would be fun

“With songs, slapstick and pauses for explainers along the way, it delivers a whirlwind recap of the period in British history...from the cheers and jeers of its young, attentive audience, it seems this one still has some mileage in it.”

West End Best Friend

“The Tudor Dynasty was particularly brutal so the show relies heavily on the japes and panto-capers of the cast; and this double hander successfully fills the children with glee...A great school holiday activity for all the family. A terribly funny show, jam packed with some very horrible history indeed.”

“ ‘Horrible Histories’ is the perfect mix of learning whilst having fun...it isn't just the youngsters who soak up new facts; everyone is in on the enlightening fun. No matter what age you are, you’ll learn and laugh in unison with everyone else...is the perfect school holiday trip to the theatre: a great blend of absurd jokes and very horrific history.”

"The plays operate at a much less ambitious level. It’s good summer holiday content, the feeling you’re taking the kids to something that will both mildly entertain and mildly improve them. But for something so obsessed with naughtiness, ‘Terrible Tudors’ actually plays it very safe."
