About the Show

The stage adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's children's book about the power of stories to transform lives.

A young boy named Tomas doesn't enjoy reading and is hesitant about going to the library until he meets the Unicorn Lady - an enchanting librarian who introduces him to the magical world of books. Tomas becomes enthralled with the stories he reads and forms a special bond with the librarian. However, their peaceful world is soon disrupted by the outbreak of war, and Tomas must make a difficult decision about whether to follow the crowd or stay true to his beliefs.

Award-winning storyteller Danyah Miller brings best-selling children’s author Michael Morpurgo’s treasured story to life.

This production is recommended for ages 6+.
