This holiday season, the Olivier Award-winning company Little Bulb Theatre (known for Wolf Witch Giant Fairy and the CBeebies Christmas Panto) presents a bold and joyfully inventive twist on the classic tale The Nutcracker. When two bickering siblings receive a curious nutcracker from their extravagant aunt on Christmas Eve, they’re unexpectedly swept into the enchanting “Mousey Realm.” There, they must join forces to outwit the villainous, many-headed Mouse King before he destroys Christmas. Packed with hilarious characters, playful cardboard creations, cheeky musical mice, and a chorus of festive tunes, this delightfully silly adventure is a fun-filled celebration of imagination, mischief, and holiday magic — with not a tutu in sight.
